Getting started is easy! Just follow these simple steps:

  1. Permit Application: Submit the permit through the DOB Permit Wizard (single-family and two-family flat) or CitizenAccess Portal (all other projects) in the Access DC system.
  2. Notify the APR team: Provide us with the permit number by sending us an email at [email protected].
  3. Fees and payment: We will generate the invoice for the accelerated plan review and send you a ProjectDox invite to upload the required documents. Online payments can be made at the DOB Online Payment Portal. Ensure the permit number is included when making the payment.
  4. Upload and review: Once you have made the payment and completed the upload of the 100% permit set, as well as the workflow portal task in ProjectDox for pre-screening, please provide us with proof of payment by uploading a copy of the receipt in ProjectDox.
  5. Virtual review meeting: After the project is accepted for review in ProjectDox, we will schedule the review session in 15 business days. An email invite is sent to the permit’s applicant including a link to a virtual meeting.
  6. Approval and issuance: Upon the conclusion of the meeting latest plan review, if the construction documents are compliant, they will be approved by DOB review disciplines. Permit will be issued after fees are paid and DOB and applicable sister agencies reviews are approved in ProjectDox.
