• Building Code Inspector II Positions: Will perform on-site inspections of residential and commercial construction projects to ensure compliance with District codes and regulations, approved building permits, plans, and specifications. This includes preparing inspection reports, issuing stop work orders, notices of infraction, and/or correction orders and resolving citizen complaints. A valid driver's license and certain ICC certifications will be required (12 months to get certification upon hiring). Search for Job ID 32328. The application deadline is May 31, 2026.
• Building Code Inspector Positions: Will prepare inspection reports for construction projects and issue stop work orders, notices of infraction, and/or correction orders for non-conforming or illegal construction activity. Maintains an effective customer service relationship with clients and the public. At least one industry certification will be required. Search for Job ID 32329.
