Department of Buildings

DOB is excited to introduce Pop-Up Permits (PUPs), our new pilot program for customers to get a streamlined Certificate of Occupancy (C of O) for temporary use of a previously vacant building for up to one (1) year - all without going through the traditional permitting process to maximize the time the space can operate. Learn more about Pop-Up Permits (PUPs).

Friday, February 5, 2021
Reference:
ZA-021

Section D-805.1, which denotes the Wesley Heights Overlay map entitled "Required Front Yard Setbacks” for the R-14 and R-15 zones, illustrates the required front yard setback dimensions for these areas:

D-805.1 All residential buildings shall have a front setback equal to or greater than the average setback of all structures on the same side of the street in the block where the building in question is located. The required setbacks are depicted in the map entitled, "Required Front Yard Setbacks," which is a part of this zone and located in the Office of Zoning and in the Office of the Zoning Administrator at the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs.

A PDF of the Map is attached to this interpretation for reference.

The Map denotes the required front yard setbacks in feet by a number inside of a circle for each corresponding block.
